Despite investing in HD brows, which you can read about in my previous blog post, and having my brows tinted, I still use the same eyebrow pencil. I have tried other eyebrow products including gels, shadows and powders, and liquid pens but I always come back to my trusty eyebrow pencil from Laura Mercier.
The main reason is because the colours are spot on and look really natural. I have blonde hair, it’s naturally dark blonde but I often have it highlighted. The Laura Mercier pencil comes in three blonde colours: blonde, fair blonde, and ash blonde, so I can always find a colour that matches my natural or tinted brow colour. I have found with other blonde pencils that they have an orange undertone, whereas these are all on the ashier side which suits my skin tone and blue eyes.
I get mine from Space NK and it costs £17.50 and lasts a good few months. The pencil is pigmented and easy to apply and has a spoolie on the end to help shape the hairs. It also comes with a sharpener; this product is easier to apply once sharpened into a small nib as it allows for precision and to create hair like strokes.
This brow pencil can be used day and night as it can be used lightly or easily built up for more definition. I have repurchased it that many times that I have lost count, a true firm favourite of mine!
